4 months old!

Abigail is 4 months old now!!  Here are some pictures from the past few weeks!

O-H-I-O

Yep, thats right!  The Buckeyes beat Iowa today, and are now headed to the Rose Bowl!!

Well, Miss Abigail is 7 weeks old now!  Where is the time going??

I go back to work on Sunday.  I’m so sad to see my maternity leave ending.

Things are going well.  Scott and I are very tired, but we’re working on getting Abby to sleep longer at night.  She’s eating like a pig and growing like a weed!

Well, thats all i have time for now!  Who knew having a baby would make your days shorter?!

I almost forgot about my blog!  whoops!

Abigail arrived on Friday, September 4th, at 4:52pm.  She was 8lbs 9oz, 20 and 3/4 inches!

My good friend Sarah was there with us all day photographing!  She hasn’t posted pictures yet, but keep checking, they’ll be up soon!

Well…It’s almost that time!

I’m almost 39 weeks!  And my induction date is coming up!

 

We are anxious, excited, nervous and any other emotion you can think of, we probably are feeling it!  So crazy that I’m going to have a child soon!!

I definitely think she has dropped.  And i’m a little more uncomfortable now than i have been.  There’s a big difference between yesterday and today even!

 

So thats about it!  Next time I post there will be pictures of Miss Abigail Lyn!!

Yeppers, I’m a slacker!

well, I’m 36 weeks along now.  We found out a few weeks ago that baby Abigail is measuring about 3 weeks ahead!!  ah!

This is me around 34 or 35 weeks!

 

I’ve been put on leave early by my Doctor.  I’ve been having some dizzy spells, and well its just not safe for me to be at work, since I can’t lay down whenever I start to get dizzy.  Plus my job is so unpredictable, its better that I not work and rest these last few weeks that I can.

I’ve had a few baby showers, and got some wonderful things from some very generous friends and family.  Here’s a few pictures from that! 

 

 

And of course, Daddy has to put everything together!  haha

 

we’ve pretty much got Abigails room put together.  I’ve got a book shelf i’m in the process of clearing off to move into her room, and a few things left to put away, but we’re ready for her!!!

Scott hung her name above her crib, and i’m still trying to find some sort of art work to hang above the dresser.  My friend Stephanie and I tried to hang some brown polka dots, but they were really shiny, and looked black in the room, and i just don’t think it was going to look right!  But here is what we have so far!

 

 

 

 

 

In other news, the weather gods have been wreaking havoc on our house in the past two weeks!!  The first thing was a random early morning thunderstorm, produced a crazy wind from the East, and blew our Bradford Pear over, into our drive way!!  Check it out!

 

 

 

So I of course had to take pictures from the comfort of the AC, while Scott cut up the poor tree!  Hey, we got some fire wood out of it I guess!  but our poor house is no longer shaded. 

 

Then earlier this week, we had another random thunderstorm that brought on the hail.  The storm produced a tornado about 10 miles from us.  we got some hail damage on our roof, and Scott’s car.  We’re probably going to end up with a new roof though!

 

 

Well thats about it!  I go back to the Dr. on the 25th for another growth Ultrasound, to see how big Abigail has gotten, and since i’m sure she’s still growing like a weed, we’ll discuss an induction!

 

Oh yeah, we dog sat this past weekend!  My friend Julie was running a marathon in Vegas, so we had the joy of playing with her Bostons all weekend!!

Whats New?

Well, we’ve finally got bedding, and most of the baby’s room set up.  Minus wall decor.  Some of you may remember that I painted my spare room bright pink for my niece, since she was living with us for a while.  She slept in the room a total of 1 time over the few months she lived here.  haha. 

So now I have this blinding pink room!  I found bedding that goes REALLY well with the pink, and the only painting we have to do, is the one wall with the window on it.  Score!  I’m going to get some things to put on the walls, to tone the pink down some more, but here it is!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So there it is!  I Love it.

Well…It’s a no go.

I tried to play the DVD of my ultrasound on my computer, and it won’t play, not to mention transfer to the computer.  So I guess I’m not going to be able to upload it here, or anywhere for that matter. 

Yay for working computers!!

So thank God for my sisters co-worker!  He fixed my computer.  Hard Drive is intact.  Woot!!

So on with whats been going on lately!  I promise to update more often, now that i have a computer that works normally.

First off, we did some landscaping….Here is some before and afters!

Its a lot of purple, but they’re sooo pretty.  and there was NOTHING else we saw that caught our eye!

Okay, now to the Good stuff!!!

I had my big Ultrasound today!

Introducing, our Baby Girl McGee!!!!!

This is a Front view of her face.  Which is quite Creepy to me….

I am 19 weeks 5 days.  But her Legs and Arms are measuring around 21 weeks.  She is in the 88%.  Her Heartbeat was 160.  She is sitting Breech right now, but the Dr. said that isn’t anything to worry about just yet.

I’ve actually lost 2 lbs since last month!  How that is, i’m not sure, because i have been eating like a pig.  But me, and the baby are healthy, so the Dr. is not concerned.

So thats about it!  I got the whole ultrasound on video.  I’ll try to upload it, but its a pretty big file.  She is a wiggle worm, and never sits still!!  Just like her Mommy!!
